  • I understand that discussing the cost of therapy is an integral part of finding the right support. My fee is $150 per 53-minute session. This is charged if we do not bill insurance directly.

I am committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care, and investing in therapy is a valuable step towards healing and personal growth.

If you have any concerns about affordability, please feel free to discuss them with me. I am happy to explore options that can make therapy more accessible, including sliding-scale appointments through OpenPath.

  • Yes! I accept Anthem BCBS (Indiana), Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Aetna. I work with Headway, a new mental healthcare system that helps Americans find mental health care, and clinicians use a seamless administrative process.

I am working on getting insurance with Oxford, Oscar Health and United Healthcare. I hope for this to be completed in 6 to 8 weeks. In the meantime, I will provide your insurance company with Superbills, which may be reimbursed.

Check out my Headway profile to better understand how insurance billing works. Please feel free to contact me for updates or to discuss alternative payment options.

  • The duration of therapy is a highly individualized process tailored to your specific needs, goals, and the issues you're facing. This personalized approach ensures you feel understood and valued throughout your therapeutic journey.

Together, we will discuss your needs in therapy and create a timeline that will work best for you. While I cannot give you exact numbers, I will openly discuss a realistic timeline for meeting your goals.

For those dealing with specific, short-term challenges, such as a recent life change or stressor, therapy might be effective in a 3-6 month window. In contrast, individuals with more complex or chronic issues, such as eating disorders, PTSD, or mood disorders, might require longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and achieve lasting change.

I am a growth-focused therapist. I lead with conversation and attention to the details of communication. I often do not work with clients for less than six months to one year.

  • My standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 53 minutes. This duration is carefully chosen to allow for a comprehensive session while providing a buffer for any necessary follow-up. However, we can talk about your preferred session length and help you shape your therapy according to your needs.

Sometimes, a session may go over time. This often happens in counseling and may impact your session's start or end time. Sessions that exceed 53 minutes without more time scheduled are subject to $15 per each 10 minutes added to the session.
